Dr. Chen is an epidemiologist focused on biomarkers of aging. His research on the development and validation of genomic, molecular, and algorithmic biomarkers includes work on "epigenetic clocks," which are used as measures of biological aging. Previously, he served as the Chief Science Officer of a biotech start-up. And he conducted his postdoctoral training(s) at the National Institute of Aging, the Framingham Heart Study, and UCLA.
