Directions, Transportation, and Parking

The Coordinating Center is co-located with the UCSF Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics on the second floor, in the Mission Hall building at 550 16th Street. The building is situated across from the UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay.

Driving

From Bay Bridge (west-bound): Exit the Bay Bridge at 5th St and turn sharp left at the end of the ramp. Follow 5th St four blocks, turn left on Townsend St, right on 4th St, left on King St. At the next light turn right onto 3rd St. Continue on 3rd street. Mission Hall is located at the corner of 16th Street and 3rd Street.

From Highway 280 (north-bound): Exit 280 North at King St. Follow King St to 3rd St, turn right and continue past AT&T Park, to Parking Lot C at 3rd Street and 16th Street.

From Highway 101/Golden Gate Bridge (south-bound): Exit 101S at Richardson Avenue-Lombard Street. Turn left onto Van Ness Avenue. Turn right onto Bay Street. From Bay Street, turn right onto the Embarcadero. Embarcadero becomes King Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and continue past AT&T Park, to the corner of 16th Street and 3rd Street.

Parking

Third Street Parking Garage

1650 3rd Street (intersection of 3rd Street and Campus Way)
Parking available in a stack garage, or in adjacent open air lot at the corner of 4th and Campus Way. Mission Hall is the first building on the south side of these lots. Enter the building on 4th Street.

Community Center Garage (next to the William J Rutter Center)

1625 Owens Street
To reach Mission Hall, enter and walk through the Rutter Center atrium, and exit onto the Koret Quad. Walk straight (west) across the Quad to 4th Street - Mission Hall will be on your right as you cross 4th Street. Enter the building on 4th Street.

Public Transportation

From BART:

Take the UCSF "Red" Shuttle from the BART Mission & 16th Street Station. Shuttles run every 10-15 minutes Monday-Friday, 6:00 am -7:50 pm. The shuttle will drop you off on 4th Street next to Mission Hall.

From the Embarcadero:

Take the SF Muni "T" line, direction Sunnyside (inbound). Get off at the UCSF Mission Bay station. Walk south on 3rd Street for one block to 16th Street, turn right, and walk one block to 4th Street.

From Cal Train:

Take the SF Muni "T" line, direction Sunnyside (inbound) Get off at the UCSF Mission Bay station (2 stops). Walk south on 3rd Street for one block to 16th Street, turn right, and walk one block to 4th Street.
